Return to Zambia
On a previous visit to Zambia, we explored South Luangwa National Park, mainly from a safari vehicle. While we saw and photographed many of the iconic species of the park, it was, admittedly, only a brief window into the natural wonders of Zambia. Even though a pandemic still raged across the world, in 2021 we were able to travel across some of the lesser known sites of northern Zambia and “fill in the blanks” to help form a more complete picture of this unique part of the African continent. Places visited included a wonderful, insect-laden forest, Kasanka National Park, the Mutinondo Wilderness, Bangweulu Wetlands, and a return visit to South Luangwa. Over the coming weeks, new images will regularly appear here as the drama of our adventure slowly unfolds.
